Natural Factors B12 Methylcobalamin is the biologically active form of vitamin B12, the form most readily absorbed into the body. It is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for various bodily processes, including energy production, nervous system function, and production of genetic materials DNA and RNA.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that is found primarily in animal-source foods and is especially important for those who are on a strict vegetarian diet. The methylcobalamin form of B12 is superior to the more common form, cyanocobalamin, as it is active immediately in the body after absorption, rather than having to be converted in the body to the active form.
Vitamin B12 has a range of uses in the body. It is needed to prevent anemia; it aids folic acid in regulating the formation of red blood cells, and helps in the utilization of iron. This vitamin is also important in energy production and the production of genetic materials DNA and RNA. In the nervous system, its primary role is in the production of neurotransmitters that help with memory and learning, and for brain health to help slow cognitive decline that comes with aging.
Methylcobalamin is essential in converting homocysteine into methionine, playing an important role in protein synthesis necessary for cardiovascular function. As such, it is important for the maintenance of a healthy cardiovascular system and the maintenance of good health.
Natural Factors B12 Methylcobalamin is the biologically active form of vitamin B12. The quick dissolved sublingual tablets are immediately absorbed into the body by bypassing the digestive system.
Methylcobalamin, the active form of B12, demonstrates exceptional activity immediately upon absorption, while other forms such as cyanocobalamin must be converted to methylcobalamin in a two-step process. Helps form red blood cells, prevents vitamin B12 deficiency, and helps maintain good health.

Wonderful product and easy to take
Recommended by my naturopath. Great improvement to my energy.
My doctor advised my B12 level was low and recommended I take a B12 supplement. I started just over a year ago. Methylcobalamin and sublingual were recommended. And yes latest lab results - my B12 is normal now. However, I am a petite woman and after doing some research I cut back on the dosage. I only take half a tablet every other day but that was enough to bring up my B12 to normal levels.
They are absorbed much better and faster, because they are sub-lingual.
I have taken this B-12 brand for some time now from H/P and and then switched to another brand also from you. Even though it had a nice cherry flavor, I found that the N/P tablets very economical and is easy to take. I would though like to request that the company changes its flavor from the bland "chalkiness" to a fruity one.
I like this brand's vitamins - quick dissolving under the tongue, the amount in the box lasts a pretty long time if you use it for occasional supplementation.
This is a great product. However I find it slightly unpleasant to deal with the plain chalky texture of the tablet under my tongue. It would be nice if there was a fruity flavor or even a chewable tablet with natural flavoring. Otherwise I will still continue to take this product as per the much deserved good ratings I gave it.
I have difficulty swallowing pills so these sublingual tablets are great.
You will be hard pressed to find this product at such an amazing price. Would be great to see you offer the 180 sublingual tablets with significant savings as well.
These unflavoured sublingual tablets are a bit chalky and paste-y, but on the plus side there are no artificial flavours or sweeteners. Quality of ingredients seems good.
