N-acetylcysteine (NAC), a sulfur-containing amino acid, is the precursor of the amino acid L-cysteine and the tri-peptide glutathione. Animal and human studies of NAC show it to have powerful antioxidant activity. NAC has been noted to decrease the viscoelasticity of nasal mucus and increase the clearance of mucus by the cilia by thinning of secretions, thus helping maintain good pulmonary health. Helps reduce the frequency and severity of flu-like symptoms.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, L-Leucine and Silicon Dioxide.
Recommended Use or Purpose:
NAC helps reduce the frequency and severity of flu-like symptoms. NAC may be used as a supportive therapy in the Health-Wellness-Car-e of respiratory inflammation.
Recommended Dose (Adults):
Take 1 capsule three times daily with meals providing protein, or as recommended by your health professional. Consult a health professional for use beyond 6 months.
Risk Information: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Discontinue use and consult your health professional if you experience an allergic reaction or an adverse gastrointestinal effect, such as nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, or constipation. Do not use if you have peptic ulcer or chronic liver disease. Consult your health professional prior to use if you have cystinuria/cystine kidney stones, or if you are taking nitroglycerin or antibiotics.
