Arnica Oil - The "Stand Up and Go" Remedy
Native to the mountainous regions of Europe, arnica is commonly known in Germany as the “wound herb” or “fracture herb.” This perennial plant is celebrated for its folkloric reputation as a “wonder plant.” In upland areas, where cuts and scrapes from falls are frequent, locals refer to it as the “stand up and go” plant, highlighting its healing properties.
Our Arnica Oil, made from organically grown flowering tops infused in extra virgin olive oil, is a natural herbal Carement used topically to soothe sore muscles and inflammation from sprains, bruises, dislocations, wounds, and even varicose veins.
Modern research has confirmed many traditional uses of arnica. Some compounds in arnica have been found to be even more effective than standard anti-inflammatory drugs like indomethacin in reducing inflammation.
Medicinal Ingredient
Certified Organic Arnica flowering tops (Arnica montana) in a 1:5 herb to olive oil ratio
Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Certified Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Certified Organic Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) extract.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents (³ 13 years): Apply thinly and evenly to affected area up to 3 to 4 times per day. Rub and/or massage into skin until the preparation disappears. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not bandage. Do not apply with external heat, such as an electric heating pad, as this may result in excessive skin irritation or skin burn. Breastfeeding women should not apply on or near the nipple.
