The tablets will bolster the immune factors important for the control and prevention of cold sores. Those with occasional problems may use the tablets with the ointment when experiencing an outbreak in order to hurry healing. For long term management or severe circumstances, many use the Super Lysine Plus+ Tablets on a daily basis.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Powdered Cellulose, Stearic Acid, Dicalcium Phosphate Dehydrate, Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose Sodium, Calcium Stearate.
Recommended Dose
Adults: Take two tablets once daily. Duration of Use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.
Recommended Use or Purpose: Source of lysine an essential amino acid for the maintenance of good health. Helps to reduce the recurrence of herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection (e.g. cold sores). Helps in connective tissue formation.
Cautions and Warnings
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet; pregnant or breastfeeding; taking blood thinners or protease inhibitors; taking immunosuppressants; allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes; an autoimmune disorder; a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection; liver disorder. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case discontinue use.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant, laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder.
