Hulled Hemp Seeds (No Shell) - A high protein seed containing all 9 of the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids that are necessary to maintain a healthy life,Hemp Seed contains these acids in a perfect ratio for human consumption no other single plant source does so. It also has high amounts of fiber as well as containing a high content of vitamin E and trace minerals. It has a balanced ratio of omega 3 to 6 fats at around a three to one ratio.
The production of hemp is possibly one of the oldest industry in the world, dating back more than ten thousand years, the Colombia history of the world records that the oldest relic of human industry is a piece of hemp fabric from around 8000 BC. Hemp is considered to be one of the most nutritious food sources in the world by leading researchers and medical doctors, due to the side effects of eating animal products such as high cholesterol, saturated fat and weight gain has led to many people turning away from there use, this leads to a problem though of how to get protein in the diet, which is where hemp seed comes in as it is one of the best sources of plant protein and fat you can find.
This won't help correct your omega balance if it's off, but it gives you the right balance to start with. The protein content of the hemp seed is supposed to be very digestible. Many people noted their personal experience of finding that hemp seed protein did not cause bloating or gas, like some of their whey, or other protein shakes did.Hemp seed is also an amazing source of monounsaturated omega 9 fatty acids considered a quality beauty oil and a healthy energy source, it's also a good source of lecithin which supports the liver and builds the brain, lecithin is found in every living cell as a major component of cell membranes.
Eating hemp seeds in any form could aid, if not heal, people suffering from immune deficiency diseases. This conclusion is supported by the fact that hemp seed has been used to treat nutritional deficiencies brought on by tuberculosis, a severe nutrition blocking disease that causes the body to waste away.Nature's highest botanical source of essential fatty acid, with more essential fatty acid than flax or any other nut or seed oil, it is also the richest known source of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids
A perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega-6 Linoleic Acid and Omega-3 Linoleic Acid“ for cardiovascular health and general strengthening of the immune system. Scientific research has found that coconut oil appears to increase the effectiveness of the Omega-3 found in hemp seed, so taking coconut oil at the same time as hemp seed is recommended. After water, protein makes up the highest portion of our body's weight and it builds nearly all the aspects of the body, protein is not only goo for building strength and muscle but also for many other essential functions of healthy living including, endurance, rapid healing, building strong bones, neurological health, detoxification, balanced blood sugar and brain chemistry. Hemp seed protein unlike animal protein, is a pure raw source of complete protein, as it never needs to be cooked to kill harmful bacteria all the vital components remain intact, it is also much easier on the digestive system.
The protein found in hemp seed is made up of over 65% globular edestin the highest concentration found any where in the plant kingdom, edestin is a plant globulin, globulins are simple proteins built entirely from amino acids. Nearly all enzymes, hormones, antibodies and hemoglobin molecules are all globular proteins and can be constructed from edestin. If your body has a low supply of globulin protein starting materiel, nutrient transport is impaired and the vital antibodies needed to prevent sickness symptoms taking hold may be to small, as hemp seed contains the planets best source of golbulin building materials, eating hemp seed will ensure your body will have a deep reservior of golbulin resources necessary to support the immune system and immune response. Unlike soy which has super high amounts of phytic acid (that anti-nutrient that prevents us from absorbing minerals), hemp seed doesn't contain phytic acid. At the very least, this makes hemp seed a step up from soy.
Q - What are the differences between hemp and marijuana?A - Hemp and marijuana are much like a sweet pepper and a hot pepper. Hemp and marijuana are both part of the cannabis plant family but are VERY different. Ancient Purity Hemp Seed contains 0.001% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and will NOT cause a psychoactive effect nor will our products cause a false positive drug test.
Q - What is Hemp? A - Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant that contains no psychoactive properties and is grown for fiber and seed production. Hemp can be used to make over 25,000 different products, including textiles, paper, paint, biofuel, particle board, plastics, cordage, and food.
Q - Will I get “high” by consuming Hemp Seeds?A - No, Hemp Seed contain 0.001% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and will NOT cause a psychoactive effect nor will our products cause a false positive drug test. Q - Is Hemp Seed safe for pregnant women? A - Yes, Hemp Seed contains numerous nutritional benefits, so it is a safe and delicious additional to expectant mothers’ diets. Q - Is Hemp Seed safe for children? A - Yes, Just remember to consider body weight when determining serving size - much like you would with any other food. As a general guideline, cut the recommended serving size shown on each package by 1/3 or ½ depending on the child’s age and size. Q - Is Hemp Seed safe for animals? A - We recommend contacting your trusted animal care professional for specific advice. However, we receive countless testimonials from customers about the observed benefits of adding hemp foods (hemp oil in particular) to their pets’ diet. The omegas founds in hemp have been shown to be therapeutic with animals’ coats, joints, digestive systems, and overall well-being. Plus, animals seem to love the rich nutty taste of hemp oil. Just like with humans, be conscious of your pet’s weight when determining how much hemp seed you add to your pet’s food. Q - Does Hemp Seed contain any known allergens? A - There are no known allergens found in Hemp Seed. Q - Could I ever test positive for THC in an urinalysis test after eating Hemp Seeds? A - No! The seeds come from non-drug plants. The amounts of THC, if any, contained in the residue surrounding the seeds, are so infinitesimally small that they could not cause a person to test positive on any test for THC. However, this has not prevented some people from blaming hemp food consumption for their positive drug tests. The drug testing industry needs to develop standards for eliminating these bogus claims, much as they developed standards for people who claimed they tested positive for the presence of opiates caused by their consumption of poppy seeds. The issue is similar to poppy seeds affecting urine tests providing a false positive for heroin consumption. The urine testing industry has dealt with this issue by requiring a medical examination of any failed employee who claims poppy seeds as an excuse. Nobody has ever called for a ban on poppy seed imports.
Ingredients: 100% Natural Hulled Hemp Seeds.
Hemp seed can be eaten on its own as a tasty snack, it also goes well on it's own, sprinkled straight over a salad. I personally like to mix it with some organic nuts and some Celtic Sea Salt or sometimes pour some Olive Oil over it and eat loads at once. It mixes well into smoothies and juices adding richness and flavour.
We recommend anything from 5 to 50 grams of hemp seed per day or just now and then. It depends on the reason for taking it.
There were tons of hulls left in with these hemp hearts, and also quite a bit of unidentifiable stuff.
