Berberine is a natural alkaloid with therapeutic use in metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia.
Berberine is present in several plants such as Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), Oregon grape (Berberis aquifolium), Barberry (Berberis vulgaris) and Chinese Goldthread (Coptis chinensis).

Recommended Dose
Adults take 2 capsule 1 time per day (preferably on an empty stomach).

It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort such as constipation, vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhea, in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Do not use it if the seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Keep sealed, and store in a cool, dry place at 15–25ºC.
