Tradition and modern science both show the spices used in chai are good digestive tonics. These spices usually include, depending on the blend, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, ginger, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla, and others.
Usually tea is the first ingredient in chai because it’s less expensive than spices. With this Double Chai blend, you get to try chai spices on their own, in a spicy, savory, and enjoyable mixture. Enjoy!
Organic Cinnamon (Cinnamomum loureirii),
Organic Cardamom Pods (Elettaria cardamomum),
Organic Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale),
Organic Clove Buds (Syzygium aromaticum),

• Put teabags in a cup or pot (Use one teabag per cup of chai to be made)
• Pour some just-boiled water over the teabags and steep 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Remove the teabags.
• We like our chai straight, but many experiment by adding milk (soy or dairy) and honey or other sweeteners.
