Magnesium Citrate
Magnesium is an essential mineral crucial for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission, and bone mineralization. It serves as a necessary cofactor for approximately 300 enzymes involved in reactions such as fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and glucose metabolism. Additionally, magnesium plays a vital role in regulating calcium balance through its effects on the parathyroid gland. Magnesium Citrate is easily absorbed, and NOW Magnesium Citrate Softgels are formulated in a liquid base with two other chelated forms of magnesium (Bisglycinate and Malate) for enhanced bioavailability.
