Maitake SAP is a hot water-extracted medicinal mushroom. Its latin name is Grifola frondosa, but it is also known as “hen of the woods” or “king of mushrooms.” Maitake is an edible mushroom and has been consumed in Asia for thousands of years. Maitake is used in herbal medicine to Aid the immune system.
