Each gram of New Roots Herbal’s Sodium Ascorbate delivers 889 mg of vitamin C and is an effective alternative to ascorbic acid as a vitamin C supplement that’s easier on the stomach.
Vitamin C is a commodity vitamin: we require large amounts of it for collagen synthesis, but we cannot produce it; 100% of our vitamin C needs are met by means of dietary intake. Sodium ascorbate is a buffered form that is less acidic, and therefore less likely to cause stomach irritation.

100% Sodium ascorbate. Each gram contains 1,000 mg of sodium ascorbate equivalent to 889 mg of ascorbic acid. ½ tsp. contains 545 mg of sodium ascorbate or 484.5 mg of ascorbic acid. No fillers or excipients. 100% pure.
Directions
Adolescents 14-18 years: As a dietary supplement, stir ½ teaspoon into juice, water, or food one to three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Adults: As a dietary supplement, stir ½ teaspoon into juice, water, or food up to four times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
