Each capsule contains 10 billion live cells of Saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial strain of yeast.
Hospital Bacteria Defense consists of Saccharomyces boulardii, identified as a nonpathogenic, noncolonizing type of baker’s yeast closely akin to brewer’s yeast (S. cervesiae). It is specifically referred to as a beneficial yeast probiotic. S. boulardii is acknowledged as a yeast and is unrelated to the Candida species (Candida albicans, tropicalis, etc.), which can cause pathogenic infections in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts. Hospital Bacteria Defense is utilized to prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Other Ingredients
Maltodextrin and vegetable magnesium stearate in a non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Directions Of Use
Adults, adolescents, and children ≥ 6 years old: Take 1-3 capsules daily or as directed by your health practitioner. If you are taking antifungal medications, take this product at least 2-3 hours before or after them.
Warnings
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health practitioner prior to use if you have fever,
vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
Keep refrigerated. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
