Cold-pressed Evening Primrose Oil contains a minimum gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) content of 10%, recognized for its benefits in women's health.
The current interest in EPO arises from its fatty acid profile, with a typical composition of approximately 70% linoleic acid (LA) and 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
Linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid found in nuts, seeds, and various vegetable oils (including EPO), requires conversion in the body. Unfortunately, several factors can impede this process, such as saturated fats, hydrogenated oils, blood-glucose problems, and inadequate dietary intake of vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins. Conversely, gamma-linoleic acid does not necessitate this conversion, making it a desirable source for the body's prostaglandin production.

Directions
Adults: For acne/eczema/skin moisture, hydration, elasticity and firmness: Take 2 softgels twice daily. As source of omega-6s / linoleic acid: Take 2 softgels daily. For all other uses: Take 2 softgels one to three times daily.
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
