I am about to start my 2nd bottle of this product and find it is effective and convenient in that I only need to take 1 capsule per day.
I was specifically looking for the purple cap hawthorn, as the purple caps are standardized to contain a specific amount of the bioflavonoid in hawthorn. So happy to have finally found this at Healthy Planet. Before, I could only find the green cap ones, but with those, they are not standardized and you really don't know how much of the helpful ingredients you are getting. I'll be buying this one continuously now that I know it is here. Excellent!
In reply to the above poster, the purple cap supplements are extracts, they are more concentrated so stronger. You take less and less often than with the green caps which are whole herbs. Note that with whole herbs there are typically less side effects.
I don't understand why the Hawthorn with a purple cap is twice as much as the Hawthorn with a green cap. I asked at the store and the person didn't know and I have looked on line and can't find an answer.
I think it is helping with my blood pressure but it still isn't as low as I would like.
