Researchers have finally uncovered the connection between lack of calcium in the bones (osteoporosis) despite having an excess of calcium in the arteries (atherosclerosis). Vitamin K2 is behind this Calcium Paradox. With vitamin K2, calcium is guided towards the areas of the body where it is needed, such as the skeleton, and away from areas where it could have a negative effect, such as the cardiovascular system.
Natural Factors Vitamin K2 features vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7), an advanced, fat-soluble form of vitamin K that serves multiple functions in the body. As grass-fed animal products are rare nowadays and a taste for natto is difficult to acquire for most Westerners, a vitamin K2 supplement is the best way to ensure you are getting an optimal daily dose of this important nutrient.

This is a great K2 product and a MUST if you consume Vitamin D. This assists in putting calcium in bones and not in arteries.
I am continuing to take this product as K2 appears to protect the circulatory system from danger.

To be honest, I have just started Natural Factors brand of K2 but it is from Natto, and blessed be, it is the cheapest.
