Osteoporosis runs in my family and it helps with the absorption of calcium and reduces bone loss. I've found that Healthy Planet has the best price around for this product. It's also important that it comes in a gel cap because Vitamin D is fat soluble, so it will help absorb into your body.

In the winter months, here In Canada, we do not get much vitamin D. So, I find it necessary to use this product to ensure that I continue to get adequate amounts of this vitamin. I have Seasonal Affected Disorder and this vitamin was recommended to help with this issue. Since I have been taking it, I find that it helps me get through the winter months with keeping my mood uplifted. It also helps with absorption of other supplements. for me, it is essential!
