Natural Factors Ubiquinol Active CoQ10 is the active form of coenzyme Q10 which is naturally produced by our cells and is significantly better absorbed, particularly as we age. CoQ10 helps maintain cardiovascular health and offers antioxidant protection for the maintenance of good health.

A vitamin-like essential nutrient, coenzyme Q10 facilitates energy delivery to metabolic processes in the body. Due to its role in ATP synthesis, CoQ10 affects the function of all cells in the body, making it essential for health of all tissues and organs. It is known to have a beneficial impact on immune performance, cardiovascular performance, and on liver and kidney performance. Forget synthetic, petroleum-based moisturizers. One soft gel of ubiquinol applied daily (to the face) helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and keeps skin hydrated.

I stopped taking it and the depletion in energy and my skin reacted poorly as well, so this is obviously something I need to take regularly. The Natural Factors Brand is good - there's a video on their website that's worth watching.

Patricia Ubiquinol is fantastic Posted on 2015-07-10: I just discovered that Healthy Planet Canada has Ubiquinol. I've been buying this from Dr. Mercola in the states for years. It's incredible stuff. If you've had surgery it will literally "put you back together" - gets you on an even keel with a feeling of energy returning. It you have stress then I couldn't recommend anything more. If you have high blood pressure this is your answer. Most importantly it helps with cell repair. Sorry to Dr. Mercola but my next order will come from here. First of all I love Natural Factors - read about them - they have very high standards and they're Canadian. The exchange rate right now with the U.S. dollar is a small nightmare plus Dr. Mercola uses DHL delivery service and each time they've caused me major problems because the drivers only ring my phone once and then run away. ARGH! I love the delivery method used by Healthy Plant. I'm not that fond of Canada Post because they have misused us t some extent, but they do a really good job of getting these products to you at not such a terrible coset. (Don't tell them that, they'll raise it!) I'm pretty sure this Ubiquinol will measure up to Dr. Mercola's standards and I'm looking forward to ordering it. I'll write another review when I've tried it.

Patricia Glad this product is available here! Posted on 2014-04-05: Ubiquinol is wonderful stuff and I've taken it for years on and off. If you've had surgery, or other sorts of high level stress, this will help you tremendously. It is also cited to have a positive effect on the heart. I like to buy Canadian and Natural Factors is an ethical and responsible producer.
