Natracare feminine hygiene products were created in 1989 by Susie Hewson out of concern for the damaging effects of dioxin pollution on women's health and the environment and today the Natracare menstrual pads and certified organic 100% cotton tampons are available worldwide, offering women a quality, natural choice.
Why Natural Pads?
For each monthly cycle, it makes sense to choose a pad that is made from natural materials. Many gynecologists have advised woman with sensitive skin to use natracare pads to reduce their contact with chlorine bleached materials, and also products containing synthetics and superabsorbents made from petrochemicals.
Since 1989, natracare has been trusted by women seeking a chemical-free choice in tampons, pads, panty liners and wipes. Natracare Organic cotton tampons and chemical free pads are high quality products made from only pure and natural materials that are not chlorine bleached and are free of plastics and other similar synthetic materials that have a negative impact on our environment.
How To Use:
Peel back the paper strip and fix the pad to panty, folding the wings over the edges of them.
Cellulose from wood pulp, organic cotton, corn starch.
Disposal: We advise you to wrap the pad in paper and put into a waste bin. Natracare pads are over 90% biodegradable and are compostable under the correct conditions.
These pads are thin and so comfortable. Compared to the liners and maxi pads, these pads stick very well.
I don't like to give these a bad review because they're natural after all, and I'd prefer them to a chemical-filled, plastic drug store brand any day. I've also used them for a long time. But after trying the Organyc brand, I realized there was a significant difference. The Natra Care brand pads fluff up as you walk, and the top surface kind of lifts up and detaches from the absorbent middle, clinging to the skin. Thus they don't hold their shape, bending and deforming out of position, so that you can get leaks. I walk a lot and have been frustrated with these aspects.
They are all natural, yes, but ineffective. The adhesive is so poor on this brand's pads that they shift around all the time. I only purchase them because they are the only natural option. Naty Care was a far superior product for the same price and also all natural and organic
I honestly dislike most of Natra's products as the adhesive on the pads is no good. Their tampons are fine, but pads specifically need work. I miss Naty brand that Healthy Planet used to carry :( their adhesive was much better and they were more like a regular pad even though they were all natural. Anyway, the wings on these pads don't adhere to your underwear. They migrate to the middle in no-time and the whole pad moves around. Tips to one side, etc. It sucks this brand is so prevalent because their product is inferior but they are the only natural brand that is easily accessible. Bring Naty pads back! :)
BOUGHT THESE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SHE LOVES THEM!
I really like the Natracare line and have used it regularly before switching to the DivaCup. It compares to Stayfree with its comfortable cotton lining although it does not have the same absorbing, wicking action that Stayfree has, as Stayfree uses some chemicals and Natracare of course does not. This also compares with Stayfree's regular with wings. I highly recommend this line if you do not want to use a menstrual cup.
Great product. Glad I could buy it a little bit cheaper than in the store.
