Land Art Natural Vitamin D Oral Spray contains 120 doses per bottle. 1000 IU per spray. Pleasant fruit flavor that the whole family will enjoy.
Vitamin D is synthesized in the skin upon exposure to ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation. However, this synthesis depends on latitude, season, time of day, age, use of sunscreen, and skin pigmentation (IOM, 1997).
In Canada, vitamin D synthesis in the skin is insufficient during the winter months (October to March). Unless very large quantities of certain foods are consumed, it is virtually impossible to meet the recommended intake of vitamin D without the help of supplements.
Health Canada specifically recommends that all adults over the age of 50 take a minimum daily supplement of 25 mcg (1000 IU) of vitamin D to prevent osteoporosis and certain autoimmune diseases. Taking a vitamin D supplement is also recommended by the Canadian Cancer Society.

Child and adult (1 year old and over): 1 mist per day.
