Posted on 2015-05-01: Over quite a few years since my MD identified how extremely deficient I was in vitamin D, I have taken anywhere from 2 to 8,000 IU per day on her recommendation, depending on the season. Less in full summer highest dose throughout winter. I have tried a number of brands, and have found little to nothing to differentiate them, so I go for cost-effective. This brand does it, and given I have to take multiple pills each day to achieve the desired dose, I appreciate the larger quantity bottle Jamieson does too.
