Glycyrrhiza glabra, commonly known as licorice, has a rich history in herbal medicine. Traditional usage shows its ability to protect the mucous membranes and lining of our digestive tract by increasing production of a protein called mucin. Mucins help to decrease adverse effects of high stomach acid and various other harmful substances. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Activated charcoal (225mg, food grade), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose.
Directions for Use (ages 10 and older)
Take 2-3 capsules, 1-3 times per day after meals or as directed by a healthcare provider. Take 2 hours before or 4 hours after taking other medications. Consult a healthcare provider for use beyond 4-6 weeks.
Warnings
Consult a healthcare provider prior to use if you are pregnant or have a liver disorder. Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place to preserve freshness.
Contraindications
Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
