Recommended Use
This formula acts as a hepatoprotection, cholagogue and choleretic. In Herbal Medicine, Milk Thistle is used to support and protect the liver, and turmeric to increase bile excretion, stimulate the gallbladder, and provide antioxidants.
How To Use
This Tincture Blends can be added to water, or incorporated into tea, smoothies, or mocktails to boost the functional benefits.
Recommended Dose
Adults: 5 mL, 3 times per day, in warm water 20 minutes before meals. Use for at least 3 weeks. Consult a health care practitioner for prolonged use.
Cautions and Warnings
If you have an auto-immune disorder, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, gallstones, or gallbladder diseases and/or intestinal obstruction, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Contraindications
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a bile duct obstruction, or if allergic to plants of the Daisy family; or if you have a heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes, edema, or if taking products containing diuretics.
Known Adverse Reactions
Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting, a laxative effect, or a hypersensitivity reaction. Stop use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing.
