PersonalitySeems prickly at first, but truly nurturing and supportive.
Herbal PowerA traditional spring tonic—known to support joint health.*
Reason to LoveAlthough it might seem off-putting at first—what with the prickly sting and all—once you’ve become friends with nettle you’ve got a friend for life. A tonic, often drunk in the spring when nettle’s pokey presence is prevalent, we love nettle’s green, hay-like taste nearly as much as we love its ability to support the whole body.*
TastePleasantly refreshing, hay-like and slightly bitter.
Walentyna is just one of the many wild collectors who gathers our stinging nettle by hand (without gloves!). Typically, she rides her bike into the fields near her home in a small town in Poland. She finds a good spot and strolls through the meadows gathering nettle. She strips the leaves off the stem, then brings them to her home where she carefully dries them in her attic—a clean, dry place specifically used for herbs. She is part of a collector network that has been using the premiums they earn from wild collection to improve their quality of life.
Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag.
Cover cup & Steep for 10 minutes.
Squeeze tea bag to ensure maximum goodness in your cup.
Enjoy 3-4 cups daily.
we really enjoy this nettle tea, my children actually really love it too. its really nice quality and loaded with so many good things, I have read nettle is a good source of iron and perhaps it's my imagination, but when I drink this regularly I do feel a boost in energy.
I am fairly new to this product but have found it to be an important part of my ongoing detox routine. In the beginning I used it daily brewing it with my green tea as I did not like the taste of nettle brewed on its own. now I use it about 3 times per week.
This is our first time trying dandelion tea. We like it very much except we are using lots of it so we are looking for a whole pound of it in loose form (hence four stars instead of five - it gets expensive if you use a fair bit everyday). The tea itself taste really nice. Very refreshing. Plus the health benefit. :)
I buy a wide variety of Traditional Medicinals teas and thoroughly enjoy them all. I appreciate their quality and the support that they provide to my overall health. The nettle leaf tea is very effective as a diuretic and is supportive of my kidney function.
I mixed this with my daily green tea for a gentle cleanse because alone it was not pleasing to my palate.
works as a diuretic. Taste is mildly pleasant
nutritive tonic .. great for cleansing the body and assisting detoxification .. acts as as a whole body detox
Nettle Leaf excellent herb for anemia and fatigue. This tea reduces PMS symptoms. Also it reduces the length of your period and the severity of cramps, and makes your flow lighter. I use it from time to time, especially during summer and it really helps.
Tastes not to bad. Good medicinal products.
