Good Eats Organic Thick Rolled Oats are made from organic oat groats.
Often referred to as old-fashioned or whole oats, they are steamed as a whole grain to make them smooth and flexible.
Afterwards they are flattened, giving them their disc like shape.
Rolled oats have a medium cook time and maintain their shape well when cooked.
They are the most common oat form used in hot or cold cereal, parfaits, and baked into goods such as granola bars, breads, cakes, crisps, cookies or muffins.

How to Cook
Ingredients
1 cup Organic Thick Cooking Rolled Oats
2 cups Water
1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
To cook thick oats on the stove, you will need a saucepan, 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of water, milk, or non-dairy milk (a 1:2 ratio of oats to water).
Bring the water or milk to a boil and add the oats.
Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the oatmeal has thickened. For a thinner oatmeal, add more liquid.
To microwave oatmeal, add 1/2 cup of oats with 3/4 cup of water into a microwave-safe bowl or container.
Microwave the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir before eating and add any toppings.
