Quick Rolled Oats
Good Eats Organic Quick Oats are made from organic oat groats.
Often referred to as instant oats, they are roasted at a very low temperature to achieve their delicious, toasted flavour.
When compared to steel cut or rolled oats, quick oats are more processed allowing them to have a much faster cook time.
They can be used as a hot or cold cereal, and used in some baked goods.

How to cook
Ingredients:
1 cup Organic Quick Cooking Rolled Oats.
2 cups Water.
1/4 tsp Salt - don't omit this!.
Instructions
To cook rolled oats on the stove, you will need a saucepan, 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of water, milk, or non-dairy milk (a 1:2 ratio of oats to water).
Bring water and salt to a boil.
Add oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
To microwave oatmeal, add ½ cup oats, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt.
Cover and microwave on high for 1-2 minutes.
Let stand for 2 minutes and stir well before eating.
Season to taste.
