Bio Folic Acid + B12 Liquid is a vegan-friendly supplement designed to support overall health and well-being. Vitamin B12 and folic acid support healthy red blood cell formation and promote normal metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and protein. Recent research suggests that daily supplementation with 400 mcg of folic acid during the first trimester of pregnancy helps to support healthy neural tube formation. In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving 119 pregnant women, continued supplementation with 400 mcg of folic acid daily into the second and third trimesters supported maternal and cord blood folate levels.*
