I bought these to make milk but they taste really good (very chewy, need to eat them slowly). Great easy pack snack.
These have become a staple in my "snack station".
I like that they are crunchy, have a slight sweet aftertaste and are filling. A great alternative to just snacking with nuts as these aren't as high in calories.
I really wanted to love these. Tiger nuts are actually little tubers, so you shouldn't expect to just eat a handful out of the bag like you would actual nuts - you may chip a tooth as these are very hard. Tiger nuts need to be prepped for eating by soaking them for a while in warm water. I did that and still found that once the initial sweet taste is gone after a few moments, you're just left with a mouthful of saw dust. I am left with a full bag of very expensive product wondering what to do with it. I read that tiger nuts make great fish bate for carp fishing... Maybe I'll give these to my Dad, who is an avid fisherman.
