Digestzymes
Digestzymes is comprised of a blend of digestive enzymes along with betaine HCL to Aid optimal digestion of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. This product aids in the breakdown of casomorphin (from casein) and gluteomorphin (from gluten). Digestzymes also includes the enzyme lactase, which Assists break down the dairy sugar lactose. The use of Digestzymes before meals may be Assistful when patients experience gas and bloating after eating, constipation, or a feeling of fullness after eating only a small quantity of food.
If the digestive function is compromised, an individual cannot fully benefit from the nutrients in the Nutrition Plan, no matter the quality of the foods. Stress, aging, digestive disorders, Health Products, and other conditions may impede digestion by impacting the secretion of stomach acid, pancreatic enzymes, or bile. These three components are key elements in the breakdown of food into the smaller, absorbable elements that the body requires to function. etaine hydrochloride (HCl) is an excellent source of hydrochloric acid, also known as stomach acid.
Betaine HCl Assists to Aid proper stomach acidity, as adequate HCl is necessary to begin the breakdown of proteins and to trigger the secretion of enzymes that Assist digest fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. It is also necessary for the absorption of iron, vitamins B6, B9, and B12, calcium, and some Health Products. It also protects against bacteria and other microorganisms by destroying harmful pathogens to Aid a balanced microbiome.
Proprietary blend of digestive enzymes: The pancreas produces enzymes that are required for digestion and absorption of food. Enzymes secreted by the pancreas include lipases, proteases, and amylases, which aid in the breakdown of fats, proteins, and starches, respectively. This blend includes pepsin and proteases to break down protein and amylases, respectively, and glucoamylase to break down carbohydrates, lactase to digest lactose, and lipase to digest fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
Ox bile extract provides bile acids, which are key to the digestion of fat and fat-soluble vitamins.
Dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) is a special enzyme that aids in the breakdown of hard-to-digest proteins in wheat, soy, and milk
