Ingredients
Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cornstarch, and Monocalcium Phosphate.
Suggested Use
This vegan baking powder is perfect for quick bread, biscuits, scones, waffles, pancakes, cakes and cookies. Use this chemical leavener for all your non-yeast baking. It makes consistently excellent baked goods every time.
Bob's Old Fashioned Biscuits
2 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1 Tbsp Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
6 Tbsp Butter
1 cup Milk
Preheat oven to 425°F. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in bumper wich a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Slowly add milk and stir until the dough just comes together. The dough will be wet and sticky. Tum dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 15 times. Gently roll or par dough to 1 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 big biscuits.
