Lactic acid bacteria produce organic acids that contribute to a low intestinal pH level, bacteriocins, and hydrogen peroxide, all of which actively discourage the propagation, growth, and survival of pathogens5.

Beth Love the probiotic, best price anywhere...but still painfully high... Posted on 2017-08-15: This probiotic is one of the first I have been able to handle, and has really helped me get stronger, which is huge as I struggle with health a lot. I love the probiotic count as well, and that it is also in a capsule. This website is the absolute cheapest I am able to find anywhere, well below retail at any stores. It is still so very expensive though.....I desperately need it, so I will remain a customer, but I have to say, Bio-K...my wallet has an ulcer because of you!

Connie best value Posted on 2017-06-02: I bought this product at other stores and it was more expensive. Healthy Planet has a good price so I ordered two boxes online but I was a bit worried about the stability of the product even though there was an ice pack in the box, it did not seem too cold when it arrived. Hopefully its still fine. I seem to feel better when I take this product though, I have Ulcerative Colitis.

Eric The best bang for your buck! Posted on 2016-05-29: Having tried many Probiotics in the past, I can tell you that Bio-K+ works the best. It may seem expensive at first but you really do get what you pay for. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
