Folic acid, also known as folate or vitamin B9, is a water-soluble vitamin crucial for DNA and RNA synthesis, red blood cell production, protein metabolism, and healthy genetic expression. While the body requires folic acid, it cannot produce it internally and thus relies on Nutrition Planary sources or supplements for intake.
