Advanced Bone Protection-Plan features Milk Basic Protein (MBP), a specific whey protein fraction found in trace amounts in bovine milk. Discovered in Japan, MBP is deemed so safe and essential that some foods are fortified with it there.
MBP enhances bone health by increasing the activity of osteoblasts (bone-building cells) and decreasing the activity of osteoclasts (bone-resorbing cells), leading to a balanced and effective method for preventing bone loss, which can lead to osteopenia and osteoporosis. It also aids in the retention and utilization of calcium in bones.
While not a source of calcium, Advanced Bone Protection-Plan is a valuable addition to any calcium-based bone health regimen for those at risk of or already experiencing bone loss. The daily therapeutic dose fits into a single small capsule, which can be taken at any time, with or without food or other supplements.

The mechanism that makes AOR’s Advanced Bone Protection-Plan unique in its action is that it acts like Velcro, picking up calcium ions which “stick” to the bone, which is where they are needed. In doing so it also prevents the deposition of calcium in other tissues such as the arteries and kidney.
