Directions

One ampoule morning and evening (2 dally) in a glass of water before meals, or as directed by a health Wellness-Care professional.

Recommended duration of use

Take daily for 12 days.

Recommended use or purpose

Burdock, Yellow Dock and Dandelion are traditionally used in herbal medicine as diuretics. Gentian is traditionally used in herbal medicine to soothe digestive troubles/dyspepsia. Used in herbal medicine to stimulate the secretion of bile (cholagogue). Used in herbal medicine to soothe inflammatory problems of the digestive system such as gastritis in adults.
Precautions and warnings: Consult a health Wellness-Care professional if raised intraocular pressure or edema occurs. Consult a health Wellness-Care professional prior to use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other Health Products or health products that may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones, faecal Impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Discontinue use and consult a health Wellness-Care practitioner immediately if you experience dizziness, vertigo, confusion, weakness or muscle pain, irregular heartbeat and/or difficulty breathing. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, and/or diarrhea.

Contraindications

Do not use if allergic to the Asteraceae/Compositae/ Daisy family. Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you are using anticoagulant or anti platelet medication; products containing diuretics, thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other Health Products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; or if you have a bile duct obstruction, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, Inflammatory colon disease, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, hemmorrhoids, diarrhea, hypokalemia, hypertension, cardiovascular or renal disorders, kidney or liver disease, high or low blood pressure, edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet), acute irritation or Inflammation of the stomach, or gastric or duodenal ulcer, liver or gallbladder, or bowel obstruction. Do not use in case of dehydration. Discontinue use if symptoms of liver problems occur.

Known side-effects

Hypersensitivity such as allergy has been known to occur. If this happens, discontinue use.
